weekend. Its closest competitor was the animated "Open Season,"
which racked up $7.8 million from 24 countries.
Oliver Stone's former foreign champ "World Trade Center"
racked up $6.8 million from 38 countries to lift its
international gross to $69.9 million.
Martin Scorsese's "The
Departed" and
Kevin Costner's latest comeback "The Guardian"
