She will play a New York cop whose investigation of the
bizarre murder of her husband leads to the discovery of a
global conspiracy involving the creation of simulated live
forms that have assimilated with the unsuspecting public. She partnered on the project with children's TV producer
Stan Rogow, game writer Brent Friedman and film executive Jeff
Sagansky, whose Electric Farm Entertainment label will produce
100 three-minute episodes of "Gemini." Dawson also is attached
to star in and produce potential TV series, feature film and
game versions of "Gemini." Dawson is not a stranger to the sci-fi genre. She created
the comic book "Occult Crimes Taskforce" and is developing a
feature based on it with the Weinstein Co., to which she is
attached to star and produce. She most recently appeared in Quentin Tarantino's "Death
Proof" portion of the double feature "Grindhouse," can be seen
onscreen in "Descent," the first film produced under her
