Heigl faces "Ugly Truth" with romantic comedy

 Katherine Heigl is ready
for "The Ugly Truth." The Emmy-winning "Grey's Anatomy" star
will headline the romantic comedy as a news producer who is
forced to hire an obnoxious self-proclaimed relationship expert
for her show. His theories end up helping her get the guy of
her dreams. |

Robert Luketic will direct the Columbia Pictures release,
which is slated for an April 15 start date. "It's an honest and, at times, ribald exploration of men,
women and the complicated relationships they weave," said
Luketic, who most recently directed "Monster-in-Law." Heigl ("Knocked Up") will next be seen in the romantic
comedy "27 Dresses," which is scheduled for release early next
