'This is what really happened,' the 19-year-old singer tells Allure magazine's January issue, on stands Dec. 24, 2007. 'He and my management, they have each other's contact information. I went to (the New York club) Pink Elephant, and he came by. All of a sudden, the next day, I'm seeing that we were kissing and hugging up each other.' The collection, dubbed "Fashion Against AIDS," is supported by well-known designers, musicians and artists, including Rihanna, Timbaland, Jade Jagger, The Cardigans and Ziggy Marley. It will be available in stores in February.

The collection comprises T-shirts, tank tops and hooded sweaters featuring specially designed prints. H&M developed the campaign together with nonprofit group Designers Against AIDS.

Margareta van den Bosch, H&M's head of design, said the collection is "rich in color, with considerable commitment going into every garment. The artists have created personal prints with a strong sense of style."

The purpose of the campaign is to increase global awareness of HIV and AIDS, H&M said.

Twenty-five percent of the proceeds will be donated to HIV and AIDS prevention projects around the world. Artists participated in the making of the collection free of charge.

Ninette Murk, the founder of Designers Against AIDS, said, "Fifty percent of the people newly infected with HIV are aged between 15 and 24. There's an urgent need to do something in this target group. By combining fashion with music in this way we hope to get these young people to stop and think."
