Lightning strikes Pinkett Smith's "Contract"

 Jada Pinkett Smith's
directorial debut, "The Human Contract," has been picked up by
Santa Monica-based sales and distribution entity Lightning
Entertainment, which will handle international sales. |

Written by Pinkett Smith, the movie follows a successful
corporate man harboring a secret. He befriends a free-spirited
stranger who encourages him to ditch his stuffy lifestyle and
live life freely. Starring in the film are Jason Clarke and Paz Vega as well
as Pinkett Smith, Ted Danson, Joanna Cassidy and Idris Elba. The movie recently wrapped production. For Lightning, the film represents the first investment
using the company's $20 million acquisitions and production
